1 1/2 Cup of flour
1 Egg
2 tsp of baking powder
1 tsp of salt
as much spinach as you want
spices (I added parsley and garlic)
milk
Mix of the dry ingredients, then add the egg, and milk enough to have a mix that is not too liquid and not too solid (it would fall from a spoon, but in pieces, not as liquid). Then add the spinach (it can be fresh, I used frozen spinah though)
Then put oil enough in a pan to deep fry, and turn them until they get a golden color). They can be made in the oven too.
Oh, like falafel, but spinach instead of garbanzos!
ReplyDeleteDont know what falafel is.. how do you put the garbanzos? mashed?
DeleteYou can cook and crush the beans. But I like to soak them for a day, then grind them up. They cook while they are frying and have a beautiful texture that way
